Standley Lake HS Hockey Announces Multi School District Co-Op, Return to 5A Competition

Standley Lake High School Gators Hockey is proud to announce the formation of an official Co-Op high school hockey team beginning with the 2026-2027 season. The program will partner with Adams 12 Five Star Schools, 27J Schools, Holy Family and Westminster Public Schools, along with the participating high schools within those districts,  with formal approval from CHSAA.

This exciting partnership brings together student-athletes from these districts and high schools to compete as one unified team, expanding opportunities and building a stronger, more sustainable future for high school hockey in our region. As part of this new chapter, the program will return to CHSAA 5A competition after competing at the 4A level in recent seasons, elevating the level of play and visibility for our athletes. Standley Lake High School Athletics will continue to proudly host the program, supported by the additional high schools joining the Co-Op.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to giving student-athletes the best possible high school hockey experience. By working together, we can offer stronger competition, improved development, and a sustainable future for the sport across our communities.

Additional details regarding team structure, branding, and tryout information will be shared in the coming months.

Families and athletes are encouraged to follow Standley Lake High School Hockey Website for updates as the program prepares for this exciting new chapter.
